Theresa Kwiatkowski is a nationally respected figure in medical dosimetry, known not only for her clinical excellence but also for her transformative leadership in the professional community. Over the course of her multi-decade career, she has contributed meaningfully to education, patient safety initiatives, professional advancement, and mentorship in radiation oncology.

With a warm and engaging approach, Theresa is celebrated for her ability to bring people together, inspire forward momentum, and elevate those around her. She has held numerous leadership roles within the AAMD, including President, Writing Competition Chair, and Region IV Director, and continues to serve as Chair of the AAMD Education and Research Foundation. Her work with national task groups and incident learning systems reflects her deep commitment to improving clinical quality and safety on a systemic level.

A prolific presenter and contributor to peer-reviewed publications, Theresa’s work has been featured in journals and professional documents focusing on patient care and safety. She was named a Fellow of the AAMD in 2013 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field and remains actively involved in professional development efforts across the industry.
