Matt Tobler

CMD, FAAMD 

Matt Tobler, CMD, FAAMD, is a seasoned medical dosimetrist with over four decades of experience in clinical practice, education, and professional service. Beginning his career in the early 1980s, he quickly became known for his deep expertise in treatment planning and his commitment to mentoring future professionals in radiation oncology.

A prolific contributor to the field, Matt has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and presented at more than 20 professional meetings. His work has been recognized with 12 AAMD Writing Competition awards, the AAMD Award of Excellence in 2008, and Fellowship status in 2021.

Equally passionate about education, Matt has trained countless students and residents in medical dosimetry and radiation therapy. He continues to shape the field through his role as a clinical educator and program coordinator.

Matt’s legacy is also defined by his extensive service to professional organizations. From editorial leadership to governance and certification, his contributions reflect a lifelong dedication to advancing dosimetry through collaboration, mentorship, and integrity.
